Bob’s life speaks stronger than any words he could say though he is has a powerful gift of mixing impersonating voices with the truth of God’s Word. Bob has lived a life that sparks a fire in anyone who meets him. Though this remarkable young man has been blind from birth, he has not missed a beat. He has never settled for sitting out on the sidelines, but he has pushed to do what anyone with vision would do. Bob is in his third year at Central Baptist College where he is majoring in Christian education. He plans to work in audio theater. At Central Baptist the professors marvel at Bob as he excels in his academic studies and his spiritual insights, while the students are motivated by his refreshing attitudes and mesmerized as he beats them badly at any video game.

Bob Griffen has encouraged all that have come to know him. He has been the subject of many newspaper articles, as all throughout high school he excelled in academics and in band. Bob played baritone and marched with the Ashdown High School band. He excelled receiving many honors such as first chair first band all regional in concert band and the John Phillips Sousa award given to an exemplary band member. Although this young man has always been motivated to go above and beyond the status quo, the source of his motivation changed in 2000.

He says that his “eyes were opened to Him [God]”. In 2000 Bob “turned everything over to God”. He was tired of playing church. Bob had begun going to church the year before. He says he went for friends, to find a place of acceptance, fun, and a higher rung socially; but he was missing the relationship God had created him for. Bob’s life was changed.

Bob has the unique gift of impersonating any voice that crosses his ears. He impersonates all voices especially those of cartoons, contemporary movies, and classics. He may even impersonate the one who introduces him on stage. His talent is remarkable. He has been traveling with the Sold Out Ministry team for the past three years performing skits and blessing those who meet him.

Bob has a heart that college and high school students would realize their lives should be different than that of the world. So he desires to use his gift of creative voice impersonating and the motivational example of his life to touch their hearts.
