At His Feet began out of a desire to love on God through music just like a lover begins to write poetry. Since that time they have just been blown away by God. The band’s name comes from the story of Jesus visiting the home of Mary and Martha. Jesus commended Mary for being At His Feet listening and loving rather than being busy by many things. The name sums of the heart of this central Arkansas band. The band as mentioned began just wanting to love on God, but God gave them a vision of calling young people to choose Him now and follow Him for the rest of their lives. They have a vision of calling God’s people to rise up.

The guys relayed a story of meeting with an advertising firm. They shared with the firm their bold mission and the firm advised them to change their name to something more powerful. The band stuck to their guns and said there is no more power than one being At His Feet. The name story shows the paradox of the group. They have tried to step out into their own path. They have not focused on networking venues and bands just so that they could have gigs, but they want a purposeful God led ministry.

Though the band has seemed to be a hidden jewel, the guys have played all across Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, and Tennessee. They have received radio play in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Idaho. They also received the 2002 Jesusfest People’s Choice Award: in which, they were the only worship band out of twenty-two bands in the two day event. They have played with such bands as Superchick, GS Megaphone, Seventh Day Slumber, Radial Angel, Pocket Full of Rocks, and Tin Man Jones.

This four piece band excels wherever they are given an opportunity. Their heart is in leading worship for conferences, camps, etc. They have been leading worship for five years. They perform on their own and as a part of the Sold Out Ministry team. They are currently leading worship weekly for the Burn Service at First Baptist Church in Conway, AR. They are also available for worship concerts and festivals.

These guys combine a heart for God, a heart for students, experience as cutting edge innovative worship leaders, and their musical knowledge (all are musical majors at Central Baptist College) to create an experience that challenges the crowd to push closer to Christ.
